The results are in from the Verizon iPhone poll.
If you have an AT&T iPhone, would you switch to a Verizon iPhone if available?
Yes: 91%
No: 9%
If you do not have an iPhone, would you get one if offered by Verizon?
Yes: 93%
No: 7%
Now, I realize that any generic poll on a blog is going to be extremely biased. People read blogs they enjoy similar views with and thus poll results are typically similar to the results of how the blog writer would have voted.
This absolutely occurred. I have an iPhone, so I only voted on the first question, but I voted Yes. If I did not have an iPhone, I would have voted Yes on the second question.
I am not saying this is a scientific poll by any means, but the desire for a Verizon iPhone was definitely more skewed than I predicted. If nothing more, I am more worried for AT&T now than I originally was prior to this poll.
I have seen nothing in the news for 2 months now regarding a Verizon iPhone, but there also has been no contradictory news to discredit the rumor. The latest prediction was for one to arrive in the second half of 2010.
I can’t wait and apparently I am not alone!
