Even with the US housing slump, the REIT industry grew worldwide. However, now that we see indications that the housing slump is slowing or bottoming (rising Existing Home Sales last week), this is getting close to the bottom of the REITs (Real Estate Investment Trust’s) market as well.
Do you agree that picking up real estate at the bottom of a collapsed bubble is a good idea? Owning assets such as real estate and domains help protect against inflation. So, owning a real estate domain is basically double leverage on an inflation hedge.
