Yes, good book. I’m still in the first half of it, so I’m not an Ayn Rand cult follower just yet, but I do enjoy it. However, I was reading a review on Big Picture (http://www.ritholtz.com/blog/2009/11/ayn-rand-the-bitch-is-back/), which pointed out the obsession this book can drive people toward. Need to make sure I stay aware of what I am reading.
Good thoughts – I agree with you as I am far from an Ayn Rand cult follower and actually think that the value of the book is because of its strong capitalist ideas but there are certainly parts of the book that are downright tedious (like John Galt’s world record breaking monologue of over 100 pages lol) and I certainly have much to disagree with Rand on in her personal life.
