Swine Flu National Emergency
President Obama declared Swine Flu a National Emergency yesterday in order to help US medical treatment facilities deal with a surge in H1N1 influenza patients.
You may ask, what US flu surge? While I have not had many friends exposed yet, I have definitely heard of the campus outbreaks (and ensuing beer pong banishments). However, it becomes much more clear when you look at the world and US trends via Google’s Flu Trends service.
Prepare yourself, flu season is about to get nasty this year.
