Green Taxi

Todd Woody announces yesterday (“Solar startup GreenVolts scores $10 million“) that one of the leading Solar entreprenuers on the market received more venture funding recently.  I do not know a lot about the company, but it seems they are growing fast.  After winning last year’s California Clean Tech Open, they have moved on to produce a demonstration solar plant that is now generating electricity for Eastern Washington.

I believe their edge is in having extremely efficient, yet small, solar panels.  They also have their panels track the sun throughout the day, which not all solar plants do (why not, I do not know…even leaves and flowers are smart enough to do that).
