Patience
There is no greater education in patience than extended international travel.
The three most frustrating speedbumps of our travels:
- LAX – I have said this before, but it is hands down the worst airport in the world, per capita or per GDP.
- Local Japanese food – The premium food in Japan is the second to none. But picking something local without advice can be painful.
- Swine Flu – A minor cough is tough to hide when every Chinese taxi driver is ready to throw you into quarantine on the slightest hint of flu.
