This article on New Scientist points out another catch-22 of Global Warming, that I often forget about. The more we warm the globe, the more energy we spend trying to cool it. Try and keep your A/C off whenever possible this summer.
The core of the article is a bit darker, pointing out that more people will die as we have much warmer summers, with only slightly warmer winters. So, I had to take down green-earth.info after using inadequate blogging software. I got crushed with spam comments and it took down my site. I am going to try to post some of my previous blogs at some point, but for now will start with all new content. I managed to retrieve a much better domain name and plan to expand this blog a bit into including more personal blogs as well. I figure it is easier than maintaining two blogs, one for the Green effort and one personal. I’ve noticed a few others who do this and as long as the personal blogs do not dominate the site, I do think it gives a much better flavor to the blog. I need to spend a bit of time updating the view of the site, so for the next few weeks we will call this the “beta” version.
