Murray State just defined why I love March on the first morning of the NCAA tournament.
They defeated #4 seed Vanderbilt as a #13 seed on a last second shot. With 5 seconds to play, they ran a basic play which kind of fell apart and yet their senior stepped up to hit the biggest shot of his life.
I must say that making my March even better is the CBS Sports iPhone App. The premium version costs $10, but it is worth every penny. It allows you to watch any game live in streaming video over your phone. There have already been 2-3 games that were close in the final minutes that I preferred to watch on my phone over what CBS was showing on TV. The app can also send you alerts on games you request (ie. start of the game), as well as alerts for any games that are close in the last minutes (my favorite alert) or upsets about to happen.
I don’t think I can write anything else the rest of the weekend. I am absolutely glued to these games as they have been absolutely fantastic.
