Apparently the problem with the world is white people with blue eyes. Sure am glad I don’t have blue eyes.
Speaking in Brasília at a joint press conference with Gordon Brown, the UK prime minister, Mr Lula da Silva told reporters: “This crisis was caused by the irrational behaviour of white people with blue eyes, who before the crisis appeared to know everything and now demonstrate that they know nothing.”
Mr. Lula da Silva, Brazil’s President, then went on and said it was wrong that black and indigenous people should pay for white people’s mistakes.
Umm, yeah, I’m pretty sure race was the cause of the global recession. I would expect this from a blogger, not a President.

More specifically, it was probably caused by white MEN with blue eyes, so he shouldn’t consider himself completely innocent. I, on the other hand, am guilty on all three and hereby surrender myself to the mercy of the court.
