My brother, Michael, passes on this blog from Michael Yon, “Michael Yon: Online Magazine“, a writer travelling with a group of soldiers through Iraq. It is very non-political biased, but well written and very detailed. His “Gates of Fire” is a great read. I have not read through much else yet, but I will start tracking his blog as of now.

A quick note, his ‘gates of fire’ article is based on the book by Steven Pressfield about the battle of Thermopylae… which is mentioned in Michael Yon’s article. I highly recommend this book as well.
