I think this is some of the coolest energy technology out there. Wave and Tidal power.
Hawaii is going to try out Ocean Power Technologies wave power buoys. They will direct the power right into the Oahu power grid.
I am a bit curious how well these work. The companies web site has a bit of an explanation, but I am not an energy expert, so I cannot quite grasp the impact of these buoys versus their cost. I would appreciate any insight from energy expert readers.
