GreenTaxi Upgrade to WordPress 2.6
Well, I’ve upgraded to 2.6 and have to say it looks fairly cool so far. It does not seem to have anything spectacular in terms of major changes, but the little things are very helpful.
For instance, I know that I wrote 129 words for this article thanks to the new word count function. There is a cool little plugin update notification bubble that mimics the Comments bubble from a 2.5 release. Post Revisions are saved and tracked in Wiki style.
Apparently many of the bugs that I may or may not have previously run into are fixed. Issues with adding more categories and embedding images, which I have run into seem to be running smoothly now.
If you have not yet upgraded your own blog to 2.6, I suggest you do so.
