After putting together this morning’s article on the Houston Energy conference, I came across last weeks Green Wombat article, “Texas: A red state that’s the next green frontier“, on how Texas is becoming more green than red any more.
As a leader in old energy (oil and coal), it only makes sense that Texas takes new energy under their large belts. I have not spent much time in West Texas, but it makes sense that they should be able to adapt to solar in the same way that Arizona and Nevada have. Let’s hope this conference can increase the interest for these ideas.
