Those familiar with the world of finance in Tokyo will most certainly have spent an evening in the Geronimo! Shot Bar in Roppongi. How much they remember of that evening will most definitely be up for debate.
Well, apparently Jason was taken down as the all time Big Chief when his record of 2,096 shots purchased ($20,960) was beaten by one shot, by a Hong Kong executive named Tom Hall. It took place on the night of one of the greatest market falls in Nikkei history. Gaijin Leo Lewis put together a very good read on the story, “Was Tokyo’s best party the very last snort of the bulls?“, on his Tokyo-based blog Urban Dirt.
