I have not spent a ton of time on the new TLD's, but I am not a big fan. It has been years and very few of the other TLD's (.travel, .asia., etc.) have proven useful. There is a chance that a few of these work, but I am not putting any of our money into it.

I enjoyed the event. The networking was great, as it was much more intimate that other events. I enjoyed the location, topics, and actually the fresh, new way of auctioning names. It was my first geo domain event and first ever outside outside.

I am glad that you think that the industry is looking and moving forward. I was wondering if you had the opportunity to go to the New TLD panel. I think that when you look at the way they talk about the Internet with Web 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0, it is now time to explore some of the other geo opportunities to diversify the .com portfolios.
