Dell Reaches Carbon-Neutral Status

Dell claims they are now carbon-neutral, five months ahead of their internal deadline.

As far as I can tell this is the largest technology company that is carbon-neutral.  Anyone know of anything bigger?

That is definitely good news, but the whole carbon-neutral concept is tough for me to swallow.

Like watching those SC Johnson commercials where they say because they buy green power they are a good company, despite filling our shelves with chemicals and a zillion disposable consumer products.

Or hearing people say they are eco-conscious because they recycle their soda cans and milk containers…
