2009 Geodomain Expo
The annual Geodomain expo is truly the best domain industry event. It focuses on development rather than just the trading that domaining survived on in the past. Because of the broad nature of the industry there are sessions on diverse topics, ranging from SEO to Sales to Social Media.
While the topics and content are fantastic, what really sets the expo apart are the people. Hearing from and speaking to the experts, such as the Castello brothers, Elliot Silver, Dan Pulcrano, Jessica Bookstaff, Mark Burgess, Fred Mercaldo, Josh Metnick, and Sara Mannix make the event truly an educational and networking experience. I met many of these people and more for the first time at last year’s Chicago convention and the knowledge we gained there is what led to a successful development of Lahaina.com.
It is time to move beyond typical domaining. This expo is where you need to be to learn how to build a true Internet business on top of your domain. If you have the asset, learn how to create value from that asset. If you do not have the asset, attend and determine if you should be in the market for one.

Kudos! We had a great time and received much needed inspiration during the last expo. We look forward to all the new ideas from the next one.
